Helping to dispel some misconceptions about adopting through foster care, these parents share their experiences.

“There aren’t any bad kids, there are kids who have been through some hard times,” says adoptive parent, Rick Hamilton. He speaks to the most common of misconceptions. In reality, some children just need extra help or special care. But there is goodness in all.

Give foster children a chance. If you feel, even a little bit, that you may want to foster or adopt through foster care, take the steps. Move forward. The rewards are great.
