ADOPTION IN

Moldova

After closing in 2001, the Moldova adoption program has reopened. Currently, there are only two agencies accredited to provide adoption services in Moldova. You can find a full list of accredited adoption agencies by visiting the Department of State’s Website for Intercountry Adoption. In 2011, U.S. citizens adopted approximately ten children from Moldova. Children available for adoption include boys and girls, ages 1-8 years, sibling groups, and children with special needs. These children reside in orphanages.
