A Pennsylvania mother had her child removed from her custody and placed in foster care. The guardian recently took the 5-year-old daughter to visit her mother on a Sunday morning. That afternoon, the mother asked if she could spend more time with the child, but when the guardian refused, the mother took the child and ran. Police found the mother and daughter, and the daughter has been returned to the guardian unharmed. Birth mother Latoya Lyerly is now in jail, being charged with interference with custody of children and endangering the welfare of children. Latoya Lyerly is said to be suffering from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
