“Why not us?” Rich and Kim Rankin had already raised seven children, but they had an instant connection with Nathaniel. The little boy spent the first two months of his life in neonatal intensive care and then entered the foster care system. But now he is the youngest member of the Rankin family: a family who is completely accepting and welcoming of Nathaniel.

Kim Rankin is passionate about strengthening the home. Her website, Catching Foxes, is a resource to homeschooling parents and all parents who seek to provide a safe, loving, educational home. Their entire adoption story can be read on the blog section of their website.
