Beliefs

At a glance, Nazarene members believe God has called them “to a life of holy living that is marked by an act of God, cleansing the heart from original sin and filling the individual with love for God and humankind.” They believe in one God as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, that the Bible contains all truth needed for Christian living, and that Salvation is found, subsequent to regeneration, through faith on Jesus Christ.

Nazarene’s believe strongly in missionary work by sharing and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and spreading his message around the world, both in person and through media. According to the Nazarene church mission statement, “The mission of the Church of the Nazarene is to make Christlike disciples in the nations.”
