With 8,000 children in foster care in New Jersey alone, the need for good, loving foster and adoptive homes is great. Those interested in helping a child are encouraged to contact Catholic Charities.

Catholic Charities is a nation-wide organization working to help people in all situations. They have relationships with local agencies across the country and serve over 10 million people regardless of their religion, race, or beliefs.

Helping people since 1910, Catholic Charities has sought out the impoverished, the lonely, and those in need. They are “guided by the basic belief in the inherent dignity of every human being,” and so “vigorously advocates for” and provides services to those in need.
