It was only a couple of weeks ago that Jasmine Jones, mother of two boys ages 3 and 9 months, left her children at a Houston fire station, stating that she and her husband could no longer care for the kids. CPS was called and the boys were placed in foster care. Jasmine now states that she was simply seeking medical care for her children. One of the boys has asthma and is autistic. The judge has ordered that the boys stay in foster care. Just one month prior, the mother tested positive for cocaine and other drugs. The father was heard saying that he no longer wanted the boys. With neither parent showing up for the emergency hearing, the judge has declared that the boys will best be taken care of in foster care.
