The new movie, Lion, starring Nicole Kidman, is a true story based on adoption. While promoting the movie, E!News caught up with Nicole and captured some of her personal thoughts. Included were her ideas about search and reunion. The reporter asked if Nicole’s own adopted children, Connor and Isabella, were to show interest in finding their birth mothers, would she be supportive? The answer is no surprise: “Yeah, of course. That’s part of my belief on adoption. If a child wants to find their birth mother, I’m absolutely supportive of that.”
Connor and Isabella are Nicole’s adopted children with ex-husband, Tom Cruise. They are now grown and at an age where they very well may seek out birth families. It’s great to know they’ll have their mother’s support!
