A Pennsylvania bakery had its grand opening July 13th, leaving the community a little sweeter but not just because of its delectable baked goods. As reported by ABC6 Action News, Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakery wanted to make an impact in Montgomery County when they opened by showing support of the community from the very beginning. What better way to make their mark on the community than by giving back to a worthy cause? So they chose to place their support in the area of adoption, showing their love to the organization Adoptions From The Heart.

Adoptions From The Heart is an adoption agency that services Pennsylvania as well as other neighboring states by facilitating the adoption process. Like any adoption agency, they ensure that children transition to safe and loving homes. The agency works with birth and adoptive parents to ensure each adoption is facilitated with love and care. However, this agency goes above and beyond guiding birth and adoptive parents through the adoption process.

Adoptions From The Heart established the Birth Parent Scholarship Fund that provides funds for birth parents to attend college. This fund helps birth parents to achieve academic success that may have seemed previously out of reach. Anyone can donate to this fund directly through the agencies website and make a direct impact on the opportunity for birth parents to pursue higher education.

Nothing Bundt Cakes saw the good work that Adoptions From The Heart was doing with this scholarship fund in their county and decided to pour into their community from the start. At their grand opening, Nothing Bundt Cakes chose to donate 20% of the proceeds from their first day to Adoptions From The Heart for the Birth Parent Scholarship Fund. The bakery proudly awarded $426 to the adoption agency at the end of their first day, showing their sweetness doesn’t end with their speciality cakes.
