This quote spoke to my heart today. I don't think we realize the power we have to better the lives of children. What small thing can you do today to help a child who needs you?

I try to be a listening ear. Sometimes children just need to be heard.

So true! I work with a little boy in foster care and his demeanor has totally changed from the time he came into summer school until now because I just sit down and listen to him every day.
