Don't tell an adoptee they should be grateful that they were 'rescued'. Don't tell an adoptive parent that they should be grateful they 'didn't have to get pregnant to have a baby'. Don't tell a birth parent they should be grateful that 'everything worked out okay and that your baby has a better life'. Just... don't.
