- Case #Emina
Emina was born in December 2007 and is a healthy, strong girl. She experienced some emotional and academic neglect in the first years of her life, but has shown clear developmental progress since her placement in a foster family. Emina gets along well with her foster siblings and is surrounded by love and care.
In November 2016, Emina was attending second grade in a mainstream classroom and doing well. She is accepted by most of her peers and her teacher pays special attention to her to help advance Eminas academic skills. Emina is often reluctant to approach new school material, but with an extra push from her educators, she will follow through with whats requested. Emina prefers to work in a one on one setting rather than groups, including when she meets with her speech therapist.
Emina has been cleared for international adoption because the specialists who oversee her care believe that she will thrive in a permanent, devoted family.
THIS CHILD MUST BE ADOPTED FROM THE FOREIGN COUNTRY OF HIS/HER RESIDENCE.
