Keith is a healthy boy who was born in July 2006. He has a history of a traumatic brain injury following an accident and has been diagnosed with cognitive delays.
Keith completed 4th grade in an auxiliary school in 2016/2017 where he worked with a resource teacher. He recently began to show more interest in educational activities and increased confidence in his abilities to complete assignments. He requests help when needed. Keith reads short words, recognizes and writes all letters, counts up to 100, and can solve math problems involving borrowing. He makes some grammatical errors when speaking but answers concrete questions appropriately.
Keith persistently seeks the attention of his teachers and other adults and enjoys engaging with his peers in group sports and games, often preferring to take on the role of leader which can at times lead to conflict. He has good personal hygiene skills and keeps his clothing and appearance neat. Keith enjoys playing tag and hide-and-seek with his friends.
