Otis from Bulgaria

Otis was born in March 2014. He has been diagnosed with Coffin-Lowry syndrome (confirmed via genetic testing) and familial cardiomyopathy. His development is delayed.

Little Otis smiles and laughs when interacting with others and he especially enjoys playing peek-a-boo with adults. He holds his head up, rolls from back to front and vice versa, and sits with support for short periods of time. He attempts to crawl and stands holding onto a fixed support. Otis reaches for, grasps, and plays with toys briefly. He vocalizes combinations of sounds, turns his head when spoken to, and makes eye contact. Otis drinks from a cup and is spoon-fed pureed foods. He sleeps well at night.
