Statewide Adoption Network Pennsylvania Adoption Exchange
- Case #C64AA45
Sit around the camp fire and read a good book with Zoey! Zoey is a very sweet, caring, and outgoing girl who loves to get dolled up with her hair and makeup done. Zoey is a petite teenager with medium-length brown hair, blue eyes, and glasses. She has an enthusiastic personality, loves to read, and often channels her energy into cooking, where she enjoys exploring making different foods. She also likes music, especially rock and roll. She sees her future career as becoming a teacher and is interested in being homeschooled if possible. Zoey is content to spend time by herself but also enjoys socializing with peers and adults. Like many youth her age, her interests continue to grow and change. Right now she is interested in learning another language, like German. She will benefit from a family who will support her desire to learn and try new things as she continues to develop her identity. For her future, Zoey would like her family to be more relaxed, one where she can be active but not always on the go, as a little peace and quiet goes a long way for Zoey. Camping and traveling with her family are just some of the activities she would like to experience with her family. Zoey would also love to live on a farm and even own a horse one day! She likes celebrating most mainstream holidays like Christmas and would love to a family to share these kinds of special days with, as well as build some new family traditions. Zoey demonstrates strength and resilience every day; she even picked the pose for her photo because she wanted to show "I am strong!" Zoey has been on an emotional roller coaster due to her life experiences and needs a family who can support her through the ups and downs of life. Zoey needs a strong female caregiver and she is open to families with a single mother or two mothers. Although Zoey is mature for her age, she would love to be the "baby" of the family as she thrives with love and undivided attention. She would do best in a family where she is an only child or in a family with grown children. Zoey would benefit from a family who is completely committed to providing permanency through adoption and can be a strong, positive role model for her throughout her life. She will shine in a family who can help her recognize her inner and outer beauty. Zoey also has relationships with birth family members and it is important for her to be able to have some type of contact in the future. Zoey is not yet legally free for adoption, however once a permanent resource is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights. For more information about Zoey, contact her recruiter, Amanda Sevison at email@example.com.
