Chakotah is a youth who really likes sports, especially baseball, basketball, football but his all-time favorite is fishing; he is currently involved in the fishing club. He enjoys building things and really likes Legos. Chakotah can be quiet and shy most times. He has a difficult time with change so need special attention when facing changes. Chakotah has had problems in his social skills but most recently he has been able to make friends more easily. Chakotah does struggle with his self-esteem and at times he feels as though he is not liked by others. He may respond by withdrawing or becoming argumentative when he becomes overwhelmed or has feelings he is unable to communicate. Like many youth his age, Chakotah also likes to listen to music, play computer games, and go to the movies.
The ideal family for Chakotah will provide unconditional love and consistent structure. He will do well with a family who provides family and individual activities. A family who will help with school work and help him set goals for his future will be ideal. He will do well with an active and involved family. Chakotah needs somebody he can trust and who will be there for him.
