- Case #80935
Chasity is a very well behaved child who generally has a quiet and calm disposition. She is somewhat shy and primarily plays alone, but she likes being around others. She is very comfortable around those who are caring and affectionate toward her. Chasity is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She requires assistance with some daily living activities, but she is working on becoming more independent and pushes towards doing things on her own. Chasity loves praise and likes to let everyone around know when she is able to accomplish a task. She is able to assist with minor activities and chores, once taught. Chasity greatly enjoys being outdoors, coloring, and showing off her work.
Chasity will do well in a family that is willing to help develop her interactions with people. A smaller family, with only one or two children, is preferred, as Chasity may require a certain level of attention as she acclimates to her new home. Siblings would also give her the ability to learn socially and bond with others. It is recommended that Chasity be adopted by a patient family with knowledge of Autism and other developmental needs. Chasity will thrive with a family that has experience communicating and loving children with special needs.
