- Case #79892
Daniel is a happy youth who enjoys playing independently. He will also welcome the company of those he loves and trusts at times. Daniel is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He does have difficulty in speaking, but he is able to formulate simple sentences or use basic sign language to communicate. He prefers routine and can be resistant to changes, but has proven to overcome and adjust to new environments and persons. Daniel can be determined in obtaining the things he wants and loves. He participates in a modified educational setting at school that is able to meet his specific needs. When Daniel finds something in which he is interested, he can focus and be gentle in his demeanor. At times, he enjoys holding hands and will hug to have cuddle moments. Daniel likes to print out logos and signs from the computer and stores them. The signs are similar to a security blanket for him. Visit me at the San Antonio Heart Gallery.
Daniel is anxiously waiting for his forever home. He will benefit from a loving, caring, patient, and motivated family who will provide him with a structured and stable environment as well as meet his specific needs. The perfect family for Daniel will need to understand his limitations and learn his physical abilities and disabilities. Daniel needs lifelong care to meet his needs. He needs an educational setting that works with children with Autism and a family who will advocate for him in the educational setting.
