- Case #81017
Destiny is a talkative child who likes playing basketball, riding bikes, and skating. She also enjoys playing with dolls, doing arts and craft projects, and listening to music. Destiny loves animals and hopes to have a pet of her own someday. She is an affectionate child and likes hugs and attention from her caregivers. At times, Destiny struggles with following instructions and staying calm when she gets upset or things don't go as she planned. She benefits from reminders to use techniques she has learned to calm down. She has shown a lot of improvement in this area. Destiny enjoys playing card and board games with peers. She typically gets along well with other children and continues to work on improving her social and interpersonal skills. Destiny is very vocal and has no problem verbalizing her wants and needs. She has a desire to do well in school and states she wants to be a teacher when she grows up. Visit me at the Heart Gallery of Central Texas.
Destiny will do well in a two-parent or single-female home, where there is stability, structure, and nurturance. Her parents will need to set clear limits and age appropriate consequences for her. Destiny will benefit from parents who will learn how to address her from a nurturing standpoint. Her family will need to be supportive of her continued need for supportive services. Destiny has an older sister who is not part of this adoption.
