Janasia is a joy full of happiness and rays of sunshine. Her eyes seem to twinkle as her smile beams bright. Big brown eyes and chubby little cheeks will draw you in to her world of sweetness. Janasia is always smiling making everyone feel as if the whole world is right. Janasia's sweet nature and effortless happiness makes it a blessing for those who care for her. Janasia is diagnosed with seizures, Cerebral Palsy, and Sickle Cell Anemia but this does not seem to decrease her joy. She requires the use of a wheel chair for mobility and a g-tube for feedings. Janasia is a willing participant in her care. She is learning to say a few words. What excitement is to come as she increases her communication skills? Janasia loves going to school where she participates in resource classes and has friends. She enjoys receiving love and affection from her caregivers. Janasia reaches out for a hug when her caregivers are nearby. It is as if she is saying come on and get your daily hug from Janasia who loves you. It is her job to bring joy and love to all of those who come in contact with her. Her easy smile says it is so.
Janasia needs a family who can commit to her care on a long term basis. Being organized is a big benefit as well as the ability to schedule ahead. Janasia's caregivers do not necessarily need to have medical experience but must be willing to learn to care for her. Janasia's adoptive family will have the help of nursing staff provided through Medicaid. Janasia will provide the hugs and joy. Her forever family will return that love and enjoy all the rays of sunshine Janasia brings into their lives.
