He will require age appropriate supervision with a little bit of extra guidance to ensure he maintains his positive coping skills. When asked about his wishes, Jesse wished for a good home and to be forever happy. Jesse currently loves school. He utilizes resources and assistance to help with managing behaviors in the classroom, giving him extra coping skills. Jesse earns straight A's in school and his teachers believe he is highly motivated. He also participates in the choir and theater arts programs at his school. Jesse needs strong parental figures who are able to help him learn to grow independently and create positive relationships with adults and peers. The ideal family for him will provide ample love and support, as well as consistent rules, boundaries, and expectations. Jesse will benefit from continued supportive services in order to maintain the great progress he has made and as he adjusts to his new home. He is a great role model for other kids, but prefers to be in a home with fewer siblings. Jesse's forever family should be open to allowing him to maintain contact with his grandmother who has been a great support for him.
