Jordan is a happy youth who enjoys spending time with people whom he trusts. Jordan can be very sweet to those around him. He likes to play video games and build with Legos. Jordan is very interested in cartoons. He also helps out in the yard and enjoys riding his scooter and the horses at the home. Sometimes his behavior can be inappropriate. He is beginning to recognize when his actions are not acceptable and is working to correct his behavior without being prompted. At times it takes him a little time to calm himself. His foster mother reports that she can see positive changes in his behaviors but he is still struggling daily with them. Jordan has strong verbal skills and is strong in reading and spelling. He is intelligent, motivated, and inquisitive, and enjoys learning. Jordan excels in math and science. When Jordan is focused he works well independently. Jordan struggles behaviorally in class. He tends to get distracted and can become a distraction to others in the class. Visit me at the The Heart Gallery of Central Texas.
Jordan needs a family who will be patient. He is a very smart child who will question things and he requires things to be explained to him. Jordan needs a family who will set firm boundaries for him as he does best when he knows what is expected. Jordan likes to joke around and a family with a sense of humor is a must. Jordan would like a family who is compassionate to the things that he has been through in his life. He will benefit from an active family who will ensure he has activities to keep him engaged. Jordan will likely do better with older children in the home who do not mind a younger child.
