Katrina is a very social youth who enjoys getting to know others. She can talk up a storm and is very friendly. Katrina reports that she really enjoys reading her Bible in her free time and quoting different passages. She also has participated in choir and has a beautiful singing voice. Katrina enjoys just sitting at a table playing board games with her peers. At times, she struggles with feelings of anger, but she has expressed that she has many coping skills that she has learned over time. She is usually remorseful and apologetic once she has calmed down. Katrina enjoys math, but has some struggles in school. She will continue to need assistance to be successful in academics. She is eager to learn and apply her knowledge to the challenges that lie ahead. Katrina is looking for an opportunity to demonstrate she is willing to make the necessary changes within herself.
Katrina's ideal family will have no other children in the home, so they can be devoted to guiding and giving her the attention she needs to be successful. She needs a home with no pets and no small children. Katrina needs a very patient family that is open to helping her with her challenges and can be there for her for the rest of her life. She needs a structured home where she knows what to expect from one day to the next and that will hold her accountable when she is in the wrong. Katrina needs a strong female role model that she can bond with and learn from. She needs to be able to feel she is loved and supported, so she can continue to make progress and share her heart.
