Michaela is a wonderful child. She enjoys spending time outside exploring. Michaela enjoy parks where she is able to stimulate her senses. Sensory time in school is her favorite part of the day. Michaela is diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis and requires follow up with a neurologist to monitor any seizure activity. She receives services that are tailored to her medical and behavioral needs. Michaela is currently working on achieving more independence when it comes to day to day living tasks. She is currently working on her feelings and emotions whenever things to not go the way she would imagine. Michaela has made significant progress from her past and is constantly working on improving herself to achieve some type of self-sustainability. Whenever Michaela hears music she loves to move her body and mimic the sounds she hears, she also loves to laugh and enjoy life to the fullest. Visit me at the Heart Gallery of San Antonio.
Michaela requires a family who is eager to learn about the complications and conditions with which Michaela struggles. She will do well with a nurturing family. Michaela's future family will need to be patient, understanding, empathetic, and persistent with meeting all the special needs of Michaela.
