Nathan is a very affectionate and loving child who likes to give hugs and receive them. He needs a little more encouragement, particularly at school, than most. Nathan is a bright child. He does need guidance and prompting to motivate him to complete his assignments and work cooperatively with his teacher. He has shown improvements this school year in his ability to complete his work and follow directions. Nathan is a smart boy who enjoys working on computers and drawing. Nathan has shown great interest in playing and having fun. He really likes the Dallas Cowboys and watching football. He also displays a real talent for making his caregivers laugh. Nathan seems to be maturing and wants to please others. He has recently shown inprovement in his ability to resolve conflicts that arise with other children. Nathan will benefit from a family who has a support system of friends, professionals, and family members. The ideal family will be experienced, patient, and allow Nathan to adjust to the family at his own pace while supporting him. A positive male role model will be beneficial. A family with adoption or foster care experience, is favorable. Nathan needs a family who is willing to participate or keep him active in services he needs. Most of all, Nathan needs a family that will committ to him and provide him with love, stability, and patience.
