Quians goes by "Keke" and she has jumped into being a teenage girl with both feet! Keke is bi-racial (Caucasian and African American) and she strongly identifies with her African American heritage. She enjoys doing hair, nails, and experimenting with her makeup during her free time. She loves animals and would enjoy a home with a four-legged family member. Keke finds having an animal therapeutic and finds comfort in having an animal to cuddle when she is upset or feeling down. Who doesn't? Keke connects with others best when completing a task. For example, you will hear all the details of her day or her thoughts about the world when you sit next to her to complete a puzzle. Keke is a strong advocate for herself and isn't shy about sharing her thoughts or opinions. Also in true teenage fashion, she enjoys listening to music or watching TV. Her favorite genre of music is Rap or R&B and her favorite shows are mysteries. She has great fashion sense and likes to experiment with new styles or sometimes creates her own. Keke can be helpful around the house and helps with chores when provided with a schedule. Keke has always done well in school. She needs support in reading and math but she is a diligent student. Her teachers report that she is always the first done with her class work and she enjoys school. Keke is very artistic and also uses this as an outlet. She hardly ever leaves the house without an adult coloring book or sketch pad! Keke will need a family who can commit to her long-term success. Can you give this young lady the family that she craves? In our effort to limit the digital footprint of our children and youth, Virginia has elected to only provide photos to inquiring families. (A digital footprint could be described as a trail left behind when someone uses the internet (e.g. websites visited, social media accounts, photos, etc.). The state wants to be cautious as to who can see and potentially have access to youth’s info.
