Giovanni from Pennsylvania
Meet Giovanni, although he's known as ?Gio? to all of his friends. People who know him well describe him as compassionate, funny, smart, helpful, and active. Did I mention active? He's an experienced snowboarder, and he also loves basketball, and football. His favorite NFL team is the Kansas City Chiefs. He recently got into rugby when he found out it's a ?tougher version of football.? He's started strength training, including lifting, triceps' dips, and chin-ups. Gio describes himself as ?the type of person who can talk to anybody? and he doesn't mind standing up for someone if he sees that they are being picked on or bullied. And he's not just compassionate towards other humans: he's an animal lover. He's particularly interested in wild animals, especially the snow leopard. When asked what he would want people to know about him, Gio stated that sarcasm is a big part of who he is. He has big dreams of going into the Marines, but has also considered a career in forensic science. He shared that he's interested in math and science, so forensic science seems to be the best combination of those two fields. He's not picky about food, but is trying to eat healthier these days. He'll eat broccoli in any form and also loves hardboiled eggs. His favorite television show is ?The Messengers,? and he loves the movie ?Where the Red Fern Grows.? Gio does well in school and currently has all A's and B's. While he doesn't know what his next step will be, he's looking for a family who talks things out rather than yelling about them. A family who likes football is key, but, otherwise, he's very open-minded. He's working on using his coping skills and has great self-awareness. He typically blows off steam with physical activity. Gio is legally free for adoption.
