Jake from Pennsylvania
Jake is a polite, shy young man who recently celebrated his birthday. He enjoys playing basketball, being active, and collecting magic cards. Jake also loves to draw and sketch and recently won a Visa gift card at his agency art show when he submitted one of his drawings. He shared that his drawing was of one of his magic cards that had a dragon-type creature on it. Jake's drawing was quite impressive. This was a big confidence boost for him and he shyly smiled when being praised on his talent. Jake has the ability to occupy himself with his cards and his sketching and does not always need to be interacting with peers. Jake also enjoys playing video games and reading. HIs favorite food is pizza and his favorite animal at this time is a cat, although he shared that he would like to see a red panda someday. His favorite type of music to listen to is rap. Jake shared that he is happiest when he is playing basketball and he is proud of his grades. It makes him sad when people tell him they will do something and they do not follow through with it. When he lived with family members in the past, he noted that they often went camping and swimming, both of which he enjoyed. Jake identified the silliest thing he ever did was to try to do a back flip; he smiled when reporting that this did not go well for him. Jake will flourish in a family setting. He is hopeful for a forever family where he will receive the love and nurturing he deserves. Parental rights have not been terminated for Jake.
