Melody from Pennsylvania

from Pennsylvania

Melody says, ?I want to be loved and taken care of. I want to be with a family who I can stay with forever. I have been through a lot, and I still need help. I need a family who will stay with me and not give up on me.? Melody is a girl who knows what she wants! She is an outgoing, friendly, and personable teenager with big dreams of finding her forever family. Her current caregivers describe her as being thoughtful and helpful and she is well known for always lending a hand cleaning around the home or helping bring groceries in from the car. Melody does this without prompting because helping is very second nature to her. She is also aware of special events, such as birthdays and holidays, and she selflessly will use her allowance to purchase or make gifts for other people. Additionally, Melody is very friendly and welcoming. You can always count on her to greet you with a smile right at your car when you return home! Melody is definitely a girly girl, but she's also not afraid to go an adventure and get a bit dirty! She would like a mom who would take her on a ?girl's day out? by going shopping and getting their nails done. Melody is also willing to try new things and has an adventurous spirit about her and would enjoy taking walks, going hiking, and participating in other outdoor activities with a future family. Melody is very energetic and she communicates most clearly when she takes time to collect her thoughts. Melody's free spirit and vibrant personality is what makes her Melody! Being part of a family is very important to Melody and since she is a girl who knows what she wants, she has strong opinions about her future adoptive family. Melody admittedly enjoys one on one attention and she would prefer a home were that attention could be guaranteed. She is open to various family types but would prefer a mom and dad, as well a family with pets, as she is an animal lover. Melody would prefer to live in a small town or country setting since that is what she is used to. She says, ?Above all, I want to feel loved and wanted.? Melody is not yet legally free for adoption, however when a permanent resource is identified the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
