Leah likes for people to know she is funny sometimes. She thrives on artistic expression, particularly drawing, singing, and writing her own songs. Having a sister and a pet dog are two things she would like in her new family. She is also interested in taking dance classes. She is familiar with animals and is comfortable with pets such as birds, horses, pigs, and dogs. Leah says her favorite foods are Salisbury steak, spaghetti, meatloaf, lasagna, and mac and cheese with hot dogs. She also loves to ride her bike, go swimming, and play basketball. She really enjoys going to the movies at the theater. Leah is a very emotional young woman who craves attention from those closest to her, she tends to get quiet and shut down for a little while from everyone and everything and isolate herself when she feels she has not received the attention she'd like. Leah will be a great addition to a loving and caring forever family.

Leah's forever family will be outgoing and provide her with new experiences, but patient as Leah can take a lot of time and patience when she decides to shut off during an emotional self-isolation. Leah would like another girl in the home to bond with as she really lets loose and opens up when she has a positive female peer to share experiences. She expresses her emotions best through music and will benefit from parents who relate to expression through the arts. Leah's family will take her academics seriously and encourage her to continue to do well in school. Leah bonds closely with women and will need a mother in the home. She would also do well with an older sister. Leah is looking forward to having pets and is adaptable to a city or country style living environment. Leah is definitely looking forward to a family who has a little more space in their yard.
