For over 50 years, Patricia Rowan hoped and prayed to one day see her beloved daughter again. Pregnant at 17, she was pressured into placing her daughter for adoption. She had always longed for reunification, but the adoption agency told her that nothing could be done until her daughter reached out to find her first.
Loved and raised out of the country — and having never been told she was adopted — Cathleen Axen wondered if perhaps she was adopted and if she had a birth mother out in the world somewhere. Together, with her brother, they investigated.
And at last, a glorious reunification took place.
