Where is the time going. Each year seems to go by faster and faster, I just wish time would slow down! Here it is and Halloween has passed with Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner. The holidays are always so much fun around our house and now that Grayson is a little older we are coming up with NEW family traditions to do. One of our favorites is to get 25 Christmas books and wrap them; then every night in December he gets to open one present and we get to read that story that night. Perfect way to spend some family time together. Then when we get together with the whole family of course there's a ton of food. I am the planner in the family so I get to plan the menu and I also put together "minute to win it" games for us all to play. Everyone leaves full and has a smile on their face.
This weekend we got to have extra family time since Jon and I both have government jobs and got Veterans day off!! We went to the cemetery and visited my grandpa's grave. He was proud to be a veteran and we couldn't have been more proud of him. Unfortunately he left us in 2005 but will never be forgot. Then we spent the rest of the weekend working on some remodeling projects, playing, and spending time with some aunts and uncles
As we get to the time of the year when the holidays start coming we can't even imagine how families that are considering adoption might feel. We would just like to take the time to wish you and your families the very best luck in making these hard decisions and hope that you have the very best time this holiday season
