Family Weekend Fun

Mar 01, 2021

Got to enjoy the past weekend celebrating my sisters birthday. Got to see our immediate family. Hung out with some friends and their kids. Orders some wings and pizza and had some good laughs. Doesn’t take a lot to make us smile and have fun. Just surround ourselves with good people. Plus seeing my niece and nephews is always fun. They make us smile. Plus we had great birthday cake for my sister! Cheers to a fun packed weekend and some amazing people to spend it with. Cannot wait until we have a little one to include in all the fun.

Our sincere prayers and go out to our friends/family in Texas. Wishing them all the best and quick recovery from the storm, especially those without power.

Snow and More Snow

Feb 04, 2021

This week we got snowed in. About 20 inches of snow. It was so pretty to watch the snow fall. It was more fun to have to dig out. Andrew did most of that for us. Can't wait to have a little one to play in the snow with. Take sledding, and play with cousins.

Proud Aunt and Uncle

Jan 14, 2021

Received an amazing phone call from our nephew Jared.  He got accepted to two colleges so far.  One of the colleges is Penn State, which Laura is an alumni.  I am super proud of him and all his accomplishments.  Even during this difficult time for a kid having to go to school hybrid and a lot "fun" things in his senior year being cancelled.  Jared has been resilient and focused on his future.  I remember when I graduated from Penn State Jared was just a few months old.  But he was in the stands with my family to see me graduate.  Through out the years he has become his own fan of Penn State and of recent years excited to walk around the campus and see what the school has to offer and what education he can continue on with.  He has some big decisions to make in the next few weeks/months as he continues to hear from the different schools he was accepted to.  He has a great big future ahead of him, and I know what ever and where ever he decides he will flourish.  Andrew and I will continue to be his cheerleader in the stands and support all his goals and dreams!

Netflix

Jan 07, 2021

So we have been binge watching some Netflix the past couple of weeks. Just watched the new season of Cobra Kai, and Bridgerton. Both really good in their own way. Wondering what you might have binged watched over the holidays? Sometimes just having a relaxing weekend is the best after the craziness of the holiday season. Just to cuddle up on the couch and have some laughs together.

New Year

Jan 02, 2021

Cheers to the New Year. As Andrew and I celebrated this start to the new year, I had on the back of my mind that this year I could become a mother. This excites me and makes me happy, but I also then thought of my potential birth mother and what she might be thinking with this new year. Is she pregnant now and looking into adoption, maybe she isn’t even pregnant yet. All I know is she is out there and I cannot wait to talk to her, meet her, and hopefully help her in making the decision of adoption and for Andrew and I to be her child’s parents. So much love in my heart, and I just want to be there for you in anyway. Let the journey begin in 2021…

Taco Tuesday

Dec 29, 2020

Well it is Tuesday after Christmas.  After eating lots of Italian food and goodies, we are looking forward to a basic Taco Tuesday.  Just a quick cooking of some beef and chicken, topped with cheddar cheese, tomatoes olives, lettuce, salsa and sour cream.  Yummy and easy... but delicious.
