Welcome

Welcome To Our Family...
As we sit down to write this letter to you, we cannot help but feel those butterflies in our stomachs. They may come a little from not knowing how our journey will begin, but mostly from the excitement of getting started. Growing our family through adoption has been something we have been passionate about for some time now.

We want to thank you for taking the time to take a look into our lives as you consider your options.

Although the process is new to us, and we cannot imagine what you are going through right now, we want to assure you that we are ready to welcome a new addition to our family with open arms and hearts. Please know that we strive to create a loving home where our children can grow to be happy, healthy, and successful individuals.

More than anything, we hope that you can find an option that is best for you and your child. As you move on in the process, know that we are thinking about you. With that, we also want to thank you for taking the time to take a look into our lives as you consider your options. We hope that you can get to know who we are a little better through this website. After you look through the it, it is our hope that you will consider us as an adoptive family for your child.

Warmest Regards,
Darres and Beth

Our Life Together

Summer is a great time of memories for us as couple. On a warm June night, almost 17 years ago, we went on our first date. After months of talking as friends, we thought we could see more than a friendship.

Our marriage together has brought us on quite the journey, from college to careers, and eventually the building of a family.

It was 4 years later in June that we got married on another warm summer evening in a gazebo in front of our family and friends. Our marriage together has brought us on quite the journey, from college to careers, and eventually the building of a family.

We both feel very fortunate to have graduated from post-secondary institutions and found careers that we a passionate about and love. After spending some time as a carpenter, Darres was able to see his dream become a reality, when he became a career firefighter. Beth has been teaching since college. After a few years at other levels, she has found a love for teaching 4th grade, and last May, she graduated with her Master's degree in Education.

Our family grew about two years after our marriage, in 2008, when we were blessed with our first child, Clayton, whom we call Clay. We have enjoyed all the new experiences that he brought us. Soon, just a year later, Clay became a big brother to Kade. Kade became a big brother shortly after as well, when Trace was born in 2010. These boys have grown to be the best of buddies. It has been fun to see all three boys grow and watch their very different personalities develop! Though the three boys have brought so much joy to our lives, we have always wanted to have more children to love.

This is Us

Darres is a dedicated and hard-working person. He loves his job as a firefighter. Outside of fire-fighting, he does not hesitate to help out when needed and is an active father.

As parents, we work together as a team to help our children be successful.

He plays outside with the boys and enjoys teaching them new things. Often times, you can find him playing football, baseball, or basketball with them. He even jumps around on our trampoline with the boys and sleeps outside in the tree house with them! He enjoys taking them to the family farm as well.

Beth is a bubbly and outgoing person. Those things all help her in her career as a teacher. She does a great job of showing her love and support to both her students and our children. She is always trying new things with the kids. She likes to take them on adventures and play outside with them. She isn't afraid to try all of the things they are interested in, but she also spends time indoors, baking and doing crafty things. She is very involved in what they are learning in school as well.

Our Boys

Clay is the oldest and shows that by the responsibility he demonstrates. He is easy to talk to and reason with. He likes to help, but he also likes to have his own time.

They are so excited to add a little sister to our family to love and protect.

When he is around his younger cousins, they adore him. Recently, he joined orchestra and band. He plays the cello and the french horn, and he is really excited to show us all that he is learning. He loves to build and create things, and he loves to read a good book.

Kade is the middle and is a loving boy. He is very caring and sensitive. He aims to please and loves to see you smile and give hugs. He likes to learn about and be around animals. He is very caring towards our pet dogs and even helps to take care of the fish. He also enjoys learning about how things work. He is great at imagining and drawing and often times likes to show or display his projects.

Trace is the youngest and loves to make people laugh by being silly or making funny faces. He is a care free little boy! He likes to have attention and cuddle. He likes to be in the action and do what others are doing. One of his favorite things to do is play in the sandbox. He loves his dump truck and loader. His other favorite thing is to go to the farm or play farm toys. If he has a chance to ride with Dad in the combine or tractor, he will take it!

All of the boys love to play together. They build race tracks and play in the tree house. They love to swim in our pool, and they like to play baseball, football, and basketball together. They are so excited to add a little sister to our family to love and protect.
