Family is very important to our lives. Most of our biological family is on the East Coast. Adam’s parents and sister are still in Florida, so Brooke and Adam like to fly down there at least once a year to visit and see Brooke’s godmother who’s down there, as well. Brooke’s mother is in Pennsylvania and when she can, she flies out to spend a few weeks with Adam and Brooke. Brooke has additional family scattered over the Eastern Seaboard who write and call frequently. Adam’s aunts, uncles, and cousins are in Indiana and Texas and we love traveling to visit the extended family!
Our Washington family is much like an adoptive family, where our friends are like grandparents and aunts and uncles that we have known for years and have been a part of their lives. They are so excited to spoil the new addition to our family. Their children and grandchildren are going to be our child's cousins right down the road. They love heading to Chuck-E-Cheese, as well as local sporting events, playgrounds and parks.
