About us

Looking forward to have more fun with another child!
Sandy and I, Charlotte, have been together for 14 years. We met in a night club in Paris when we were still going out to actually meet people!! We moved in together pretty quickly. I always like to tease Sandy about how he directly transitioned from his lovely mum taking care of him to me. We got married in 2009 in a very small town close to my parents' house. The sky was very cloudy that day and it even rained a little bit. But I strongly believe it brought us good luck!
In 2010, we moved from Paris, France to New York so Sandy could pursue his career in music. At the time, I had to quit my job as a PR in a luxury fashion brand. We lived a very exciting life in downtown NY, visiting our friends and family in France and traveling at least 3 or 4 times a year. In 2013, I got pregnant with our daughter Pippa. Having her is the most wonderful journey ever. We have been enjoying every second since she's born. When she turned 1, I got a new job as a Wholesale manager for a women shoe company. Sandy was still very successful in composing music. Because he was able to work from home, we had a wonderful nanny for half the day. And then we will have family quality time when I will come home. Being there when Pippa was waking up in the morning, for bath time and dinner every night was really important for me as much as I enjoyed being back to work.
In 2016, we got the opportunity to move to California. I decided then to quit my job and focus on our family. We have a really marvelous life in Venice. Sandy is mostly working from home. So we spend a lot of time the three of us. I take care of our house. I really enjoy cooking all our meals. Sandy grows a garden so we can eat some organic vegetables. I go with Pippa to ballet, swim, piano and guitar classes. We talk all the time and laugh so much. We enjoy spending time at the beach, playground, parks, museums, birthday parties, playdates and sleepovers. We can't wait to share these joyful moments with our second child. And Pippa is so excited to have a little brother or sister soon! She already agreed in sharing her toys, books, clothes and turning her current playroom into a baby's room.
Growing our family through adoption has always been a dream of ours. I, Charlotte, an adoptee myself from Korea, feel so grateful and fortunate. I had a wonderful childhood, getting all my needs fulfilled and love from my adoptive parents, brother and all my extended family. I couldn't have been happier. I would love to share my positive and loving experience with our adopted child. Luckily Sandy always agreed with me to adopt children from the moment we talked about having kids. We feel an open adoption with contact with the birth parents will be beneficial for the child but we will be also fine with a closed adoption if necessary. We are so excited and ready to welcome another child to our caring and loving family and sharing his/her adoption story will be very important for us. All our friends and relatives are very supportive of our decision to adopt.
