Dear Mother, ask me anything. I will tell you that with our adopted son, we have an open adoption with his first mother. He has known since day one how much she loves him and what she did for love. She and I have frequent contact. The more love, the better is my moto. Every adoption is different. Your needs and desires and concerns are yours. I just want you to know that I already have nothing but love and respect for you and your child will grow up knowing that and as much more as you wish to offer. And if you want no contact, know that I will never say anything but loving things about you. My boys are best friends.
My boys want a little sister. We want a daughter. Our home and hearts are open. It's also important to us that the child we adopt is black or a child of color so that their skin matches our youngest.
I was a school teacher and now I homeschool my boys full time. They are in lots of homeschooling playgroups as well as have friends that go to school. They are 2 or 9 cousins in the immediate area. They have tons of social opportunities and more playdates than any other children I know. Most of our day is filled with laughter and play and their imaginations.
My husband works for himself and so we like to travel a bunch, which is what led us to homeschooling initially. We travel in and outside of the states. My guys love exploring new areas and have a hands on appreciation for different cultures, languages, religions, among other things.
My husband is first generation American - his family is from Cuba so the boys speak spanish, as well as english,
I'm not sure what else to say. I can't begin to imagine what you want to know or what is important to you. Text me. Call me. Email me. We can start connecting and seeing if we are a good fit for each other.
So much love!
