We get to see Clint's family often as they live close by. So we take every opportunity possible to get to Texas to see Gabrielle's family. This was us on a hike in January for our late Christmas celebration. We rented a house and spent all weekend together. We pet horses, did puzzles, cooked and ate lots of food, made s'mores on the campfire, and did some our door hikes and walks. It was a wonderful weekend and we were able to spend lots of quality time together. We can't wait to go back.

Christmas 2020Feb 03, 2021
Christmas looked a little different for us this year. Unfortunately we were in quarantine but we made the best of it! We watched Church online, lit our Advent Calendar at home, watched every Christmas movie on our annual list, ate frozen pizza and lots of Christmas candy, and spent a lot of quality time together. We usually travel to Texas for Christmas, but it was nice waking up Christmas morning in our own bed. Bear loved it the most! He is happy anytime the three of us are together. We ended Christmas night with a fun family Zoom game night with Gabrielle's family. We had family from California, Las Vegas, Texas, and us in Tennessee. We missed all being together but still had a great time! We even got a dusting of snow!! Clint's parents made a drive by visit to make sure we saw family on Christmas! His mom brought him Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies, his grandmother's recipe. He was so happy! McCall Clint's little sister and her husband Ryan stopped by to bring us home-made lasagna and spend a little time distanced in the front yard. It was nice to have some contact with the outside world! The day after Christmas we made hot chocolate and drove around looking at the best Christmas lights in our area! It was fun, we took bear along for the ride! He was really sure what was going on but he is happy anytime we are riding in the car together.
Celebrating 5 Years Of MarriageOct 06, 2020
On July 4th we celebrated 5 years of marriage. We are amazed how fast these 5 years have gone and all that God has blessed us with. We are so excited to see what the future holds. Due to COVID our options were limited when it came to celebrating. We got dressed up and went to a fun restaurant where they combine a delicious dinner with a magic show! Our minds are still blown by those talented magicians. One guy literally made a coin disappear and reappear right before our eyes! We ended the night with ice cream and watching a movie at home with Bear (our pup).
Our Home + PupMar 10, 2020
We moved into our house in 2015 after we got married. We live in a safe and quiet family neighborhood that has a mix of people from all stages of life and various racial and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our neighborhood has a common area with a playground and a basketball court. We live in a suburb that has a little bit of everything, including grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, parks, and boat docks. We have a welcoming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom open floor plan home that has a fenced in backyard that our dog bear loves to play in. We have a 3-year-old Weimaraner named Bear. He is a big part of our family and is spoiled rotten. He is a happy, smart, loving, and playful dog. Bear loves for us to throw a frisbee or ball with him in the backyard, which allows him to get all of energy out. He can't wait to have a little human to play with! He is great with kids and loves being around our niece and nephews, and we know he will be just as great with a new family member!
Our StoryMar 10, 2020
We were both members of a small group at a local Church in Tennessee. We first became friends and started spending more and more time together. After being friends for a while, we started dating and dated for about 4 months before I (Gabrielle) went back to nursing school in Texas. We then dated long distance for about a year. During our long distance relationship, we learned to communicate, make the most out of time spent together, and cherish our friendships and family relationships. Clint proposed in May 2014 in front of the beautiful Highland Park United Methodist Church. The night Clint proposed was the same night I got pinned as a nurse, it was an eventful, emotional, and memorable night! I moved back to Tennessee after graduation and started working as a nurse. We were engaged for a year and married in July 2015 in Texas. We had an amazing "firecracker" wedding with all of our family and friends!
