What pets did you have while you were growing up?
We had a dog named Gus. He was a black lab that loved life. We named him after a family friend - a Greek man named Gus Lazerakus who painted houses. He had a larger than life personality. We also had Clarence the cat, some rats, and a goldfish. Gus was my favorite though.
Who’s your go to band or artist when you can’t decide on something to listen to?
It's my Pandora station - called the "The Sound of Sunshine Radio" it has Michael Franti & Spearhead, Jack Johnson, Matt Kearny, Lenka, Harry Belafonte - just feel good music.
What is something that is considered a luxury, but you don’t think you could live without?
Ben and Jerry's ice cream (Tonight dough)

Thanksgiving. There is family, food, football, and gratitude.

The future - or whenever space travel is more common.

What's the weirdest nickname someone has for you and what's the story behind it?
Toddywoddles - I'm not even sure how my sister came up with that one, but it stuck all these years.
If you could only eat either donuts or chips for the rest of your life, what would you choose?
Donuts. You can't beat a hot, freshly glazed donut.
Tell me about the photo?
That is Krysta's cousin's dog Yukon. He came with us on a 24-mile backpacking trip in Alaska this last summer. He's a great dog :) At home, our only pets right now are my girls in the beehive. We may get some chickens this spring.
