This weekend we were able to spend lots of time with family. On Saturday we went to Tricia's sister's house for a Passover seder and on Sunday we drove to Anthony's parent's house for Easter. We love to spend time with our families and always look forward to seeing them.
We're reminded of all of the old traditions with each family. Tricia's family is Jewish and they celebrate Passover. This year Tricia and Anthony were asked to bring the traditional Passover dish of Charoset. Anthony was raised Catholic and had never made this dish. It was a really fun experience for him to be able to put together a traditional Jewish dish. It came out delicious!
Anthony's parents always make traditional Easter foods. They dye Easter eggs and then bake them into Easter bread. This year we decided to cut up the Easter bread the next day and make French Toast. It became the birth of a new tradition!
