I have so many memories from my childhood wrapped up in reading. Growing up, my dad would always read me a chapter of a book before I fell asleep. Throughout my childhood, he read me the entire Chronicles of Narnia series, and I remember getting so excited for bedtime because that also meant it was time to submerge myself again into C.S. Lewis' world, sitting in my dad's lap. I loved to imagine all of the characters in my head, and I would like to think that reading with my dad gave me the rich imagination I still have to this day. Reading is just as important to JP, so we wanted to make sure that we created a dedicated space in our nursery for reading and cuddling with a future child. We are so excited to be able to read and imagine with a child someday, and we hope that the books read in this corner will create memories and a closeness that can last a lifetime. We have equipped our bookshelf with classic stories, stories about adoption, as well as stories about all kinds of people that left their mark on history. Isn't it exciting to be able to dream with a child and to show them how big and bright their future can be?
