Well, I don't have too much to add since our last post. Quarantine has kept us home-bound mostly, but since restrictions have started easing, we have been out a little. Jake has had a couple of play dates with some good friends that have involved a back yard play house, water balloons, and pizza. Oh, and impromptu song/dance sessions to C+C Music Factory's "Gonna Make You Sweat." Jake now runs around the house singing (screaming?) "EVERYBODY DANCE NOW!" over and over. It's fun, really. We've also started visiting my parents more often. They live pretty close by, out in the country, so there's plenty of space for Jake to run around and play. He also likes taking walks to their neighbor's house to see the goats and horses.
Corey has also started a garden. When he's not working or playing with Jake, he's in the backyard taking care of the yard and his new plants. We're growing tomatoes (Jake calls them tay-toes), and jalepeno and banana peppers. Jake loves to mow the lawn and check on the "tay-toes" with Dadda.
Well, that's about as exciting as it gets right now. (Ha!) We're planning a road trip to the beach soon, so that will add some adventure to the mix.
