"We’re the Leonardson’s, I’m Katies sister. The Westover’s and Leonardson’s have lived by each other for almost 6 years now! I’ve watch them raise their 2 beautiful children. Katie and josh are full of adventure. They want their kids to live life to the fullest. Family is important to them, so their kids have many people around them who love them (and spoil them 😁). Katie is fun, creative, kind, understanding and gentle with her kids. There’s nothing they could do that would make her angry at them. She teaches them to be smart and encourages them to try their hardest but allows them to be themselves. Josh is adventurous, always up for anything, willing to leave work or stay home if his family needs him. He’s the fun dad, always loves to make his kids laugh or play outside with them. If there was someone deserving of another child, it’s them. They’ve waiting so long to have a family, so they cherish every moment they have with their kids. "As the mother of a birth mom, it doesn't get any better than Katie and Josh. Watching God put a family together through this experience is scary, humbling, and heart wrenching but I can honestly say it was beautiful and divinely orchestrated. Josh and Katie always put my daughter first. They didn't push her. They honored her wishes at every turn and showed her pure love and support. They continue to support and involve her as much as possible, reaching out often. They want their children to have healthy loving relationships with their birth moms. I have never once had to worry if my granddaughter was being taken care of, taught, or loved. There is no such thing as a perfect parent but they are amazing parents. Their children are learning kindness, responsibility, and love of God and family. I love them like my own children. They are selfless, yet willing to create healthy boundaries.
