Looking Forward To Our Paths Crossing Soon

We welcome you and want to get to know more about you, as you will be a part of your childs life and ours.
We have never met and sometimes the focus on the mom gets pushed aside and the focus is all about the child but we want you to know that you are just as important to us as your child. We are sincere when we say you are in our thoughts and prayers. We believe that everything happens for a reason and there are no coincidences.

Love Makes A Family

Getting To Know Us

Joe: He owns a small trucking/brokerage company. Joe comes from a larger family of three brothers and one sister. They are all within two years of each other and are extremely close.

Adoption Is Another Word For Love

Most of his siblings have children, which is great to watch them grow and Jackson has cousins his age to play with at family gatherings.

Joe enjoys trap shooting, exercising and watching movies with Tara after Jackson goes to bed. As you will read in Tara's insert, you will find that Joe spends quite a bit of time working on the house doing renovation projects. Thanks, HGTV.

At the end of the day Joe enjoys staying busy by teaching and spending time with Jackson. During the warmer months Joe and Jackson like to go outside and mow grass together or even sometimes Joe will ride around on the tractor and Jackson on his power wheels and chase each other. They just enjoy being together and living life.

Tara: She is a stay at home mom. Her day usually consists of playing trucks, puzzles, and watching cartoons. She considers being a stay at home mom quite the job, but a bigger blessing. Tara loves spending time with family. If she's not with Joe and Jackson at home, you can usually find her with her mother and sister or spending time with her in-laws and their families.

Tara loves to watch HGTV and give her husband projects to do which he loves (secretly). She also enjoys playing games with Jackson, going to markets and craft shows, or baking. She's a huge fan of the show Fixer Upper. Tara and Joe actually just put some shiplap up in their house which looks awesome. During the warmer months She loves to be outside with Jackson either playing on the swing set or gardening.

Before becoming a mother, Tara used to work in the medical field as a Phlebotomist and Administrative Assistant for a Home Care agency. She enjoyed both of these jobs very much and learned a lot. Being a stay at home mom and raising her child at home is something she cherishes. Kids are only young once and sooner rather than later they will not want mom around, so she is taking advantage of this time.

Jackson: He is 4 years old and a total boy. Jackson was born 8 weeks early, weighing only 4lbs 3oz. He spent his first 4 weeks in the NICU at the local hospital. Jackson is a fighter. He LOVES babies and always wanting to help feed them, give them their pacifier, or just give them a kiss. He is beyond excited to become a BIG brother. He is really into tractors, semi trucks, swimming class and jumping off the furniture. He has the sweetest smile and is Mr. Independent.

Our Story

We are a simple, loving family. Let’s take a trip down memory lane to help share our story and for you to get to know us.

We met a few years before we started to date in 2008. We both share often how our relationship has been nothing but fun and loving. After a few years of dating we knew we wanted to get married so we started looking for a local church that we could attend and call it our home. We found our home church, Michiana Community Church of God. We have been there for almost 8 years. We got married in 2011 and are now raising our son there and will continue this with our future children. It has been such a blessing having a group of members/community supporting us and help to raise our son. In 2013 we were asked to help lead the youth group at our church. God put us in that church with a purpose and we are forever grateful to minister to the youth of our church.

In 2012 we had our 1st son Jackson, who was born 8 weeks early. As stated above he was hospitalized for 4 weeks in the NICU at our local hospital. It was tough not being able to take him home and spending many hours and days in the NICU. He is now a healthy and very active 4 year old boy. Snow tubing and hot chocolate was the highlight of our winter, now it's t-ball and ice cream for our spring and summer. .

We had always envisioned our life with 2 children. When our son was 2, we decided we wanted to grow our family. So the process began but this time it wasn't so easy for us. We have experienced 5 miscarriage and many heart aches during the last few years. Things were not going the way we wanted and we were ok with that. We were closing the chapter of having a family of 4 and accepting that we would be a family of 3. Until one day adoption was laid on our hearts. We have prayed for many months on what it was God had planned for us. It took something sad into something incredibly exciting.

We welcome you and want to get to know more about you as you will be apart of your child's life and our life. We want them to know where they came from and that they are loved.

Our journey has not been fairy tales and rainbows by any means, but we know that it is what makes our story. We are so excited to love your child unconditionally. We are excited to meet you, as we know that you are just as important to your child. We continue to pray for you daily and look forward to meeting very soon.

Always in our hearts and prayers.
