Dear Friend

Dear Friend
Family means the world to us and as you read through our profile, we hope you can see the love we have for all our family and the love we have for you and your child. We feel it is important to have an open adoption and want us to both be comfortable with and agree on how open the adoption is. We feel it is important that your child knows who you are and how important you are to us and to them.

Its not what we have in life, but who we have in our life that matters

We look forward to telling your child all about you and your family regularly. We would love an open relationship that includes regular contact from updates through email and text and visits if that is something you are interested in. We want what is best for your child and can't wait to share our family with yours.
We are a happy, fun, loving couple who are looking to add to the love and joy we have in our life by starting a family.

Our Story

Joe and I met one spring day in 2011. I had recently had a knee surgery from a work injury and was on crutches. Joe had recently had an ankle surgery so he came up to empathize with me about how horrible recovery is.

Every Family has a Story... Welcome to ours

We got to talking and I thought he was just funny and charming, I really wanted to spend all my time with him. After a few weeks of spending time with each at church activities and with big groups of people, he asked me out on a date and took me on the most perfect little picnic, complete with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and fruit snacks. During the date, we went for a little hike and we ended up hiking further than planned because we didn’t want the date to end. It wasn’t long before we were in a serious relationship and during Thanksgiving weekend, I took Joe up to meet my family. To my surprise, he popped the question a few days after we returned home. I said yes!! I married my best friend in March 2012. We’ve been married for 5 years and have had many adventures and lots of ups and downs that come with life.
As we tried to start our family, we knew it might not happen due to some reproductive health issues on my part, so we tried to prepare ourselves. In October 2016, we lost a pregnancy due to a tubal pregnancy and received news that one tube didn’t work anymore and the other looked diseased. I was told that I now have a much higher risk of another tubal pregnancy. This was devastating news to us, but we had been preparing to adopt for about a year before this happened.
At this time we want nothing more than to be parents and to love a child with all our heart, help them grow, learn, succeed, work hard, get through disappointment, and anything else that comes their way.

Meet Joe

Sarah's Prospective:
"If you are around Joe, there is a good chance you'll be laughing. Joe is funny, creative, fun loving, and silly.
Joe is easy to talk to, loves his family and is a hard worker.

You are my today and all of my tomorrows. -Leo Christopher

He worked hard to get through school when we first were married and since graduating, has worked hard to do well at his job. Joe loves sports, he loves to watch Football and answers all my sport related questions while I sometimes watch with him. He likes to watch basketball as well, but he loves playing even more. He goes out and shoots hoops and if we have nieces and nephews around, he is out there playing ball with them. He has enjoyed coaching sports in addition to playing them."

When I am not working, I love to play basketball, or watch sports and spend time with Sarah. My favorite thing to do is spend time with Sarah, whether I am supporting her at a training class, taking care of her when she doesn’t feel well, or out exploring, I enjoy being with her. We have two dogs we adore. Billie Bones is our fun loving German Shepherd and Oakley is our Golden Retriever. They both love when our nieces and nephews come to visit.

I have 2 brothers, and older brother and a younger brother that I am close with. My oldest brother Andrew is married and has 4 kids. We see them often, as they live about 30 minutes from us. My youngest brother is attending school. We see my parents at least once a month. We live about 2 hours away from them and love to do things with them. Every year we have a Crozier reunion at Petit Lake.

I work for the USDA writing home loans. I enjoy running the business side of our dog training school and attending classes to help and support Sarah when she needs extra help.

Meet Sarah

Joe's Perspective:

"Sarah is the most awesome person I have ever met. She is fun, sweet and kind. Sarah is a determined and dedicated person who when she knows what she wants works to achieve it.

Family: Forever, for always, no matter what

She has always supported me and helped me to be a better person in all aspects of my life. Sarah enjoys playing with the nieces and nephews, whether it is coloring or showing the kids how to get the dogs to do tricks."

When I have free time, I love being with Joe, whatever we might be doing. We love to be out hiking with the dogs, kayaking, and camping with family. I enjoy running and have run a few 5K, although I'm not very fast.
I also love to do agility with our dogs. I am fluent in American Sign Language and love to use it whenever I have the opportunity to.

A lot of our time right now is spent working, running our business and serving in our church. In the evenings after work Joe and I go for walks and spend that time talking about how our days went, dreaming about the future, and laughing together. Our weekends have been busy with house projects and spending time with family. We also love having time on the weekends to relax a little bit and attend church.

We cannot wait to add a child into our lives and to spend time taking them to the park, library, attending their school functions, supporting them in the activities and/or sports they want to participate in as they grow up. As we welcome a child into our home, we plan to change our busyness from running our business and from work, to busyness that comes from caring for, loving and loving a child.

I have 8 siblings, 5 of which I grew up with. When I was a senior in high school my parents adopted the first of three girls from China. I enjoyed getting to spend a few months with her before leaving for college. I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters. My parents are 8 hours away from us, but they visit our area a few times a year. Most of my family lives in the same area as my parents. We meet up with my older brother and his family every year at Bear Lake for a mini reunion.

I work from home as a medical coder. I have a very flexible schedule. I LOVE dogs! That has lead me to a career running a dog training school in our community. I offer group classs that meet once a week, so my time commitment varies depending on the session we hold.
