Foster parenting is essential to children in our own country. But for those who are refugees from war-torn, dangerous countries, finding foster families is life-saving. These kids have families who love them, but it has become completely unsafe to stay in their countries with their families. And so loving foster parents who know they will simply be an “American family” for them. These foster children are grateful for their freedom, their safety, and the opportunities they have to live the lives they hoped for. This news video highlights one American Foster Family – the Giles family. A family who has provided not only safety and care for foster refugees, but also love.
