The Richards Family Adoption Story from The Archibald Project on Vimeo.

Concerned about the ability to care for special needs children, Keith and Salem Richards have asked themselves, “Would these children be better off in the orphanage, or better with us, even though we’re just learning about their special needs?” And the answer, of course, is that the children are in the best situation in their home with two parents who love them unconditionally and are learning how to best care for them.

They talk of faith and growth and love when it comes to the adoption of their two youngest children. Gratitude for having them in their family fills the couple with joy. They would have others who are considering adopting children with special needs to trust in their instincts, to trust God, and to know that He will make them capable of what needs to be given to their children.
