A Song About Adoption by David Wright

Have You Seen This?

Denalee Chapman February 17, 2015

In this video, adoptee David Wright performs his touching and brilliant original song about his “never ending search” for who he really, truly is.

David Wright is an accomplished musician who powerfully shares (and conveys) the feelings of many adoptees of closed adoptions who continue to search out their roots. Some search tirelessly; relentlessly. They share a deep desire to connect their past with who they are now. Using music, David Wright eloquently depicts the sincerest desires of an adoptee’s heart. It is our honor to listen.

Included in the message of this song by David Wright is the resolve to never stop searching.
