" My name is Isaac Halvorson. I'm Hannah's brother, and I'm writing as a personal reference to Hannah and Evan's character and parenting ability. It's been thrilling to see Hannah and Evan's excitement over adoption grow throughout their process. From the initial seed of the idea, to today where an actual adoption could happen at any time, they have been positive and well informed. They've even made it a point to bring our family into the process as much as possible, keeping us updated about the status every step of the way, and letting us know their hopes and fears going into such a big decision and life change. I know they will take good care of any child they care for. Both Hannah and Evan have worked with children in the past. Hannah has nannied two young girls for 2 years, and has taught children's dance classes for over 10 years, Evan has taught karate to kids for many years. Those experiences have all been with older children, but I've also seen firsthand how they can care for an infant. My wife and I recently had our first child, and he has spent time with both Hannah and Evan. I've seen them interact positively and lovingly with him. They will be excellent, caring parents to any child they adopt. From the beginning, finances were something they talked about and considered in their adoption plans. Neither of them are the type to spend extravagantly on unnecessary items, and they are good at living well within their means. They're both responsible enough to realize that having a child will change their financial situation, and they have been planning for it. Our entire family is excited for Hannah and Evan's adoption; excited to add another wonderful child to our family, and to see Hannah and Evan grow into their roles as parents. "
