Shevin & Corey

Well, spring is officially here, and we have been spending as much time as we can outdoors. Jake loves going to new parks and playing in the back yard. Sometimes, on rainy days, we go to an indoor play place with slides, toys, trampolines, and more. Basically, everything a 3 year old could dream of. He loves all of it. This past weekend was gorgeous, so we headed to Gramma and Cappy's house (Shevin's parents) for Sunday lunch and an egg hunt in their back yard. Jake wasn't really into finding eggs until we showed him there was candy inside. Then there was no stopping him. He and his cousin, Lily, had a blast. Easter weekend is coming up, and normally we would take a short road trip to a distant cousin's ranch for a huge family reunion with my (Shevin's) mother's family. But we are taking another road trip to visit Corey's parents (Gran and Grandad). We didn't get to see them at Christmas because of a COVID exposure (everything is good there). Jake can't wait to see them, especially their cat, Ansel. Jake loves to run around their house looking for Ansel, who can usually be found hiding under the bed. Poor Ansel. Well, that's all for now.
